Reverse osmosis is a pressure-driven membrane separation process. Under pressures higher than the natural osmotic pressure, water molecules pass through a semi-permeable membrane while dissolved salts, organics, bacteria and viruses are rejected and carried away in the concentrate stream.
Our RO skids are built around brand-name 4040 / 8040 low-pressure composite membrane elements housed in FRP or stainless steel pressure vessels, with a vertical multistage high pressure pump, variable frequency drive, complete instrumentation and PLC control.
Configurations include single-stage, double-stage, one-pass-two-stage and brackish / seawater desalination arrangements, with concentrate recirculation to maximise recovery.
