Pre-treatment & Utility

Ultrafiltration Equipment

Hollow-fibre UF systems for turbidity, colloid and bacteria removal, and as RO pre-treatment.

Capacity
1 – 500 T/H
Outlet Quality
SDI ≤ 3, turbidity ≤ 0.1 NTU, bacteria removal ≥ 99.99 %

Ultrafiltration uses hollow-fibre membranes with a pore size around 0.01–0.1 μm to physically retain suspended solids, colloids, macromolecular organics, bacteria and viruses while allowing water, ions and small molecules to pass.

As RO pre-treatment, UF stabilises the feed SDI regardless of raw water fluctuation, dramatically extending RO membrane life. As a standalone process, it clarifies surface water, well water and process water to potable clarity without chemical coagulant sludge.

Systems run in dead-end or cross-flow mode with automatic backwash, air scrub and CEB (chemically enhanced backwash) sequences controlled by the PLC.

Key Features

Why This System Performs

Stable SDI for RO

Guarantees SDI below 3 even with variable surface water, protecting downstream RO membranes.

Absolute barrier

Physical retention of bacteria and viruses at ≥ 99.99 % without chlorine dosing.

Automatic backwash & CEB

Timed backwash, air scouring and chemically enhanced backwash keep flux high with minimal manual work.

Compact footprint

High packing density modules replace large clarifier and sand filter civil works.
