Laboratory wastewater is small in volume but complex and hazardous: strong acids and alkalis, heavy metal ions, organic solvents, reagents and biological residues. Discharging it untreated damages drainage systems and violates environmental regulations.
Our laboratory wastewater treatment cabinets collect effluent from sinks and fume hoods, then automatically run a sequence of pH neutralisation, redox reaction, heavy metal chelation and precipitation, filtration, activated carbon adsorption and photocatalytic oxidation before discharge.
The unit is fully enclosed with odour control, operates automatically with a touch screen, and records treatment batches for environmental inspection.
